His Creation

Our Lord Jesus created the Eucharitid Wasp. Why did He make such a strange-looking creature?

God has revealed His character to us through His creation and through His Word, but can anyone claim that they fully know how God thinks?!

I recently happened upon the following quote, which you may find interesting:

As I watched the clip, I thought about the omnipresence of our Lord Jesus, and how David exclaims in Psalm 139:5-7, "Youhem me in, behind and before, and lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from Your presence?"

And,

With the terrible earthquakes that have occurred around the world lately it is good to be reminded of what Scripture says:

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe," Hebrews 12:28

Personally, I think the giant isopod is wonderful beyond words! Among other things, it reminds me that, "No one is kinder than Jesus our Creator...or more terrifying!"

...let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy (Psalm 96:12).
