Among Christ's attributes echoed in His creation (Romans 1:20), the holiness of God is arguably the most notable and widespread. We 'see' (& 'hear') the transcendent character of our Creator proclaimed in most of the things He has made. But sometimes, the quality of this general revelation is far beyond a description that words can supply!

This is especially true for the songs of the Bearded Seal (Erignathus barbatus), a marine mammal which lives in the Arctic. Of all the hymns sung by animals, none seems so strange and otherworldly—a special 'earmark' of the Bearded Seal by the holy hand of its Creator.

I have never heard such a strange melody (with the possible exception of several unusual scores composed for science-fiction films of the 1950's). Are you as amazed as I am by this eerie symphony!
